SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests:
On Jan. 13 at 9:43 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Cumberland County Jail to take into custody a 45-year-old male, Stephen Janasiak of Bridgeton, NJ for Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)] and Theft [2C:20-3A]. The charges were issued in relation to a theft that occurred at the Harmony Suites located at 455 Plaza Drive on Nov. 1, 2024. Mr. Janasiak was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On Jan. 14 at 6:23 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 43-year-old male of Watchung, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Weehawken, NJ in the amount of $1,130. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.

On Jan. 14 at 4:08 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Union County Jail to take into custody a 30-year-old male of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $750. He was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On Jan. 15 at 11:21 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 24-year-old female of Haledon, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Paterson, NJ in the amount of $600. Paterson PD released her on her own recognizance pending a future court date and she was released from police custody.

On Jan. 17 at 10:58 a.m., Secaucus Police arrested a 44-year-old female of New York, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)]. She was arrested and processed at Secaucus Police headquarters in relation to a shoplifting incident that occurred at Walmart on 10/02/2024. She was subsequently released from police custody.
On Jan. 17 at 6:23 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 24-year-old male of Jersey City, NJ for Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A]. He was issued his complaint summons along with 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
