New Esports, Gaming Facility To Open In North Brunswick

Nerd Street Gamers will open its first NJ esports and gaming center in North Brunswick this Saturday.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Nerd Street Gamers, a national esports company, announced the opening of a new gaming center in North Brunswick. This will be the company’s first Localhost esports and gaming center in New Jersey.

The facility will be connected to a Five Below store at 997 US Hwy 1, North Brunswick. A grand opening is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 9 at 11 a.m., and will include free gameplay for the first 100 customers, giveaways, and influencer meet and greet.

Localhost North Brunswick is around 2,629 square feet and will include professional-grade gaming computers and consoles plus high-performance gaming accessories, along with options for refreshments and apparel. Visitors can also play on 44 PCs, six consoles, and two polycades.

“Nerd Street was founded in the East Coast, and we’re excited to expand our presence in our own backyard,” John Fazio, CEO of Nerd Street Gamers said in a media release.

“Over the years, New Jersey has shown its support for esports, and this Localhost in partnership with Five Below will help further drive this industry growth among the North Brunswick and surrounding community.”

The facility will also host its first on-site tournament, CSGO LAN of Winter Champs, on Oct. 30, with a prize of $2,500. For more details on the tournament, click here.
