South Brunswick Approves Planning Study Along New Road

Township evaluating what to do with a currently empty field across from Woodlot Park.

South Brunswick, NJ - The South Brunswick Township Council has approved a planning/redeveloment study for three properties along New Road.

The Council approved the redevelopment study for 127-129, 147-153, and 163-177 New Road, currently an empty field across the street from Woodlot Park, reports TAP Into.

The planning study is the first step to seeing if the empty lot can be redeveloped into something beneficial for the township. Affordable housing, which South Brunswick is obligated to have, may go there at some point, township officials said, TAP Into reports.
