South Brunswick Woman Uploaded Child Sex Abuse Material To The Internet: Mercer Prosecutor
The woman was charged following an investigation by the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office.
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — A South Brunswick woman has been charged with possession of child sexual abuse material, Mercer County Prosecutor Janetta D. Marbrey said Thursday.
Patricia Figueroa, 43, of Monmouth Junction, is charged with one count of second-degree possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM). She was released pending future court appearances, Marbrey said.
According to Figueroa’s LinkedIn profile, she is a self-employed career coach and recruiter.

Detectives with the Mercer County Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that a person living in Hamilton Township, Mercer County, had uploaded multiple files of suspected CSAM to the internet.
An investigation was initiated, and Figueroa was identified as a subject.

On Tuesday, members of the prosecutor’s ICAC Unit, with assistance from the prosecutor’s Special Victims, Economic Crime and Trial units, the New Jersey Regional Computer Forensics Laboratory and the South Brunswick Police Department, executed a search warrant at Figueroa’s Monmouth Junction home, where detectives seized electronic devices.
She was taken into custody without incident and taken to the Mercer County Correction Center.
Second-degree crimes carry a sentence of five to 10 years in state prison and a fine of up to $150,000. The investigation is ongoing.
