"Bloomin' Brunch" Postponed To Sept. 10 In South Orange

A hands-on floral workshop and brunch in South Orange's Spiotta Park has been pushed back to September from its original date July 30.

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — A hands-on floral workshop and brunch in South Orange's Spiotta Park has been moved from July 30 to a date in September.

South Orange Downtown is sponsoring the event, which is now September 10 from 12-2 p.m.

"Bloomin' Brunch," a hands-on floral workshop, is hosted by Edith Villavicencio of Garden of Edith Floral Design Studio. The day also includes a light brunch in Spiotta Park from The Order.

"The workshop will focus on eco-friendly techniques using chicken wire, everyone’s favorite flower from their floral bar, dried and preserved flowers and a variety of Dutch flowers. You'll learn how to design your own floral arrangement, plus tips on how to keep your flowers looking fresh longer, changing the water in your floral arrangement and much more."
