Board of Trustees Candidate Profile: Howard Levison

South Orange's municipal election will be held on Tuesday, May 10. Voters will elect a Village President and three trustees, each of whom serves a four-year term. D. 

The are Alex Torpey and Janine Bauer, a trustee, who is running on the Pure Progress slate with Deborah Davis Ford, Howard Levison, and Mark Rosner.  David Ford, Levison, and Rosner are incumbents and are running unopposed.

Howard Levison has lived in South Orange for 36 years. He has served on the South Orange Board of Trustees since 2007. Roles he has held include:

• Chair, Budget, Finance & Info. Tech. Committee and Co-Chair of Joint SO/M shared services committee.
• Member, Public Works and Public Safety
• Past chair, Citizens Budget Advisory Committee
• Founding member, Main Street South Orange

Levison is a Principal, Facility Management Consultants, South Orange.
