Dear President Newman:

It is with great pleasure that I honor you this evening for your years of devoted service to the people of South Orange, NJ. You have exemplified the finest qualities of a leader, servant and a friend, while fulfilling your duties in a most admirable fashion.

The leadership qualities you've cultivated over your 30 years of business management have undoubtedly become and irreplaceable asset for the great Village of South Orange. From your role on the South Orange Planning Board to the Performing Arts Center Board of Governors, to your involvement on the Board of Education, your fingerprints have indelibly been left on the community. Your extensive involvement is a tribute to your dedication and commitment to the people of South Orange.

Best wishes as you embark now on this new phase of life, and may you enjoy many years of good health and happiness with your beautiful family. As your Representative in Congress, if I may ever be of assistance to you in any way, please don't hesitate to call on me.
