Farewell Summer: First Week Of Fall Weather Forecast In South Orange
The good news? Fans of autumn can rejoice – the fall is finally here. The bad news? You might need an umbrella, forecasters say.

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — Say goodbye to the summer and hello the fall, South Orange.
The first day of autumn will officially arrive in the Northern Hemisphere when the equinox begins at 2:19 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 22. This is the moment when the sun crosses the equator and people living in the hemisphere – including South Orange – will begin to see more darkness than daylight.
A wet week is in store for the Garden State, according to the National Weather Service (NWS). Some early forecasts indicate a “substantial” amount of rain in parts of the state, but recent dryness should limit widespread flooding potential, forecasters said.
