Fireworks Show In East Orange For July 4th: See Event Details

The City of East Orange will hold an Independence Day Spectacular and Fireworks Show for 2025.

The City of East Orange will celebrate the Fourth of July with its annual Independence Day Spectacular and Fireworks Show.

The event will be held this Friday July 4, 2025 at Paul Robeson Stadium, 215 North Clinton Street, with doors opening at 6 p.m. The evening will feature WBLS’s DJ Qua with Host Lenny Green and a special live performance by R&B Singer Jeff Redd. The night will be capped off with a spectacular fireworks show. All are welcome to attend, and admission is free.

Guests are encouraged to wear cowboy attire, bring fans, and join Najah Riker and friends to create the largest “Boots on the Ground” Line Dance in Essex County.

“Our annual Fourth of July Spectacular is a great opportunity for our community to gather and celebrate Independence Day in our city,” said Mayor Ted Green. “We invite families, friends, and neighbors to come out and enjoy the festivities!”

Free parking is available at East Orange Campus High School, 344 Prospect Street, and STEM Academy, 129 Renshaw Avenue starting at 6 p.m. EOPD will have additional patrols monitoring the area for people walking to and from the stadium.
