Jacqueline Herships is May Villager of the Month
The resident was recognized at Monday's meeting

Jacqueline Herships is the May Villager of the Month. Herships was recognized at Monday's South Orange Board of Trustees meeting by Nancy Heins-Glaser on behalf of the Community Relations Committee.
In introducing Herships, Village President Douglas Newman described the Villager of the Month presentations as a much-anticipated part of meetings. Heins-Glaser noted that Herships is "quite deserving of the honor." She "fosters and supports others in the media community," said Heins-Glaser, "allowing writers to write and readers to read." Herslips is one of the founders of Professionals in Media (PIM) an active support and networking group for local media professionals. "While she is local," said Heins-Glaser, "her reach is wide."
In accepting the award, Herslips said, "There's nothing I like more than putting people together and watching what happens."
