James Rebhorn, 'Homeland' Star, South Orange Resident, Dies at 65
Popular actor died Friday of melanoma at his Essex County home.
James Rebhorn, a popular actor with an impressive TV, film and Broadway career, died Friday at his South Orange home.
Rebhorn, 65, died of melanoma, his agent, Dianne Busch, told The New York Times.
Rebhorn amassed more than 100 credits, most recently in Showtime's "Homeland" as Frank Mathison, the father of Claire Danes' CIA officer role as Carrie Mathison.
Rebhorn, who also appeared in "Scent of a Woman," "Independence Day," "My Cousin Vinny" and "The Game," was also known for his role as the prosecutor who sent the "Seinfeld" clan to jail in the series finale.
