Juicebox Rocks the Joint in Montclair on Sunday

jams on Sunday in Montclair. The hometown rock and rollers will take the stage at on Sunday March 11th at 5:30. Juicebox plans what calls “a killer set of Rock’n’roll.”

In addition, Juicebox’s new bassist, Ginger Moon, is on the scene, helping to move the band through the competition, towards a spot at the this summer. Juicebox is already in the semi-finals, notes Goldman. If they reach the finals at the Stony Pony in Asbury Park, they could reach the championship round at the Gramercy Theatre. Goldman looks forward to the prospect. “It would be a free show,” she explains, “a nice chance to invite our loyal fans out for a night.”

In the meantime, Juicebox has been at work on new material, and focusing on their stage show, as they work towards Bamboozle. “It has been exciting to be judged,” says Goldman. “The judges have given us very favorable feedback, which is awesome.”

Montclair Chill features 16 bands, in numerous genres, starting at noon on Sunday. Tickets are $15 at the door, and Juicebox fans can get a free CD for coming out.
