This week saw South Orange coping with triple-digit temperatures. We cooled off at the library and the pool, and marveled that the Community Garden thrives despite the heat. A trip to the South Orange Seaport is a cool suggestion for next time...and there will be a next time. Camp continues around town, including a Tuscan School-based program and trips to the Turtle Back Zoo. A former SHU coach was arrested for shoplifting, while an alum was deported for spying. We looked at the governor's property tax reform, and considered the very real possibility of losing Sat. mail delivery. In sports, we celebrated Cougars coach , and the winningest .  Our local baseball team is in the finals this Saturday, while the South Orange Dolphins kept their cool against the competition. And, finally, kittens abound around town. They're small: take two!
