Look To The Sky Wednesday Night For Rocket Launch

The planned launch of NASA military satellite Wednesday night in Virginia may be visible in New Jersey, according to NASA.

U.S. Air Force's Minotaur 1 rocket was scheduled to blast off Tuesday night, but bad weather pushed the launch back to Wednesday between 8:28 pm and 11:28 pm.

The launch will be webcast and NASA plans to send out countdown updates via Twitter.

A NASA map shows where the launch might be visible.

Such launches are very rare in the East, reports Space.com.
