Mila Jasey Welcomes Changes to the 27th District
The primary election is June 7; deadline to register to vote is May 17
Assemblywoman Mila Jasey announces her heartfelt welcome to constituents from the newly defined 27th legislative district, and the ‘Easy Access’ policy of her office. The municipalities of the 27th district now include Caldwell, Chatham, East Hanover, Essex Fells, Florham Park, Hanover, Harding, Livingston, Madison, Maplewood, Millburn, Roseland, South Orange, and West Orange.
“The most rewarding part of my work is to speak with people whose lives the legislature affects everyday, and hear their needs, thoughts, and ideas. I am tremendously excited to work with, and for, the residents of these new municipalities as we realize a return to the democratic principles that we believe in in Trenton,” said Jasey. “I have met a lot of people from the Morris County area as a result of my extensive work in the areas of education, healthcare, and economic growth and development. These towns represent a wonderful addition and new influx of energy to the 27th district.”
On May 17th,“Meet Mila” an evening of art, cocktails and conversation, a fundraiser is being held at the home of art collector and philanthropist Patricia Bell of South Orange. “The last day to register to vote in the Primary election held on June 7th, is days away on May, 17th”, reminds the Assemblywoman. “Registration forms can be downloaded from my website, or picked up at my office, the US post office or the municipal clerk’s office in your municipality.
Assemblywoman Jasey will be visiting each municipality to meet with residents.. Checkwww.milajasey.com for her full schedule of appearances. Jasey’s Assembly Office is located at 15 Village Plaza, South Orange. Office hours are Monday - Friday from 9 - 5pm.
