NNO is a Go for SO

Tuesday's National Night Out Committee Previews the Evening's Schedule

Shrek is on the way, and the dunk tank is filled for South Orange's first-ever National Night Out (NNO). On Tues. morning, Sheena Collum, Chair of the Citizens Public Safety Committee, sent an email previewing the evening's events. NNO takes place at Floods Hill and everything is free.

7:00-8:30PM Public Safety Fair and Kids Zone

*Live music from Aisle Five
*Activities with "Mr. K" Jeff Kaesshaefer, South Mountain Gym Teacher
*Citizens Public Safety Committee National Night Out giveaways include glow sticks, fans, frisbees, balloons, face painting and temporary tattoos...First 50 kids get a free t-shirt!
*South Orange Police Department offers Kids Fingerprinting kits, Bicycle Registration, including free helmets, courtesy of  YouthNet.
*South Orange PBA Local #12 offers free cotton candy, dunk tank, and a bounce house.
*South Orange Fire Department offers fire truck tours and fire safety information
*South Orange Rescue Squad has equipment demonstrations and blood pressure screenings
*South Orange Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) explains  how to get involved.


8:30p.m.-10:00p.m. Outdoor showing of  "SHREK"
