Police Blotter: Armed Robbery on Irvington Ave.; Shoplifter Arrested
The following arrest information was supplied by the South Orange police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

*The attendent at Delta Gas Station on Irvington Avenue was robbed of $200 at gunpoint on Thursday, July 21, at approximately 12:40 p.m.
The victim, who was not injured, described the two suspects as black males in their 20s, both wearing blue jeans, white T-shirts, white and gray head scarves and each in possession of a handgun. The suspects fled east on Irvington Avenue into Newark.
* Emmanuel Amuruotu, 53, of Orange, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Thursday, July 21 at 11:59 pm. During the stop, Amuruotu would not produce identification and provided false information. Once Amuruotu's correct identification was obtained, it was revealed Amuruotu had an outstanding arrest warrant out of Union and was driving on a suspended license.
* On Thursday, July 21, at 3:19 pm, Mary Pavloski, 39, of Newark, was arrested for shoplifting several items, valued at approximately $50.00, from the Pathmark on Valley Street. An employee of the supermarket saw Pavloski place the items into her pocketbook and leave the store without paying for them.

* On Thursday, July 21, at 5:25 pm, a West Montrose Avenue resident reported two windows of her residence were broken by juveniles throwing apples. The juveniles, who fled the scene on bicycles and headed north on Clark Street into Orange are described as two black males, about 11 years old. One was wearing a gray tank top shirt and blue shorts and the other was wearing a blue T-shirt and blue shorts.
*A Newark resident reported her vehicle 1995 Honda was stolen sometime between 2 a.m. Tuesday, July 19 and 8 a.m. Thursday, July 21, while it was parked on Kenmore Avenue.

*An Academy Street resident reported on Thursday, July 21, at approximately 10:05 p.m., a black man, about 16 years old, wearing dark-colored shorts, a white T-shirt, a white baseball cap and carrying a backpack, walked up onto the porch of his residence and removed a white box with black lettering that contained a pair of shoes. He then fled south towards Maplewood.
