Rain Soaks South Orange

How bad is it? The Department of Public Works evacuated the yard this afternoon when the rains came, and readers report flooded cars, corners and many, many wet basements.

The heaviest band of rainfall was through the area by 4:45, according to the National Weather Service, but flooding will continue. More rain is also in the forecast.
