"Is that the rat from Ratatouille?" asked a seven-year-old camper, as he gazed across Meadowlands Field. A giant inflatable rat, positioned in the middle of the four baseball diamonds, and wearing a red tank top, stared back.
"No," answered his buddy. "I think that's a field mouse. Get it? Field mouse, on the field. Where we play baseball."
Not only was the rat on the field, it was the central attraction of the Recreation Department's summer camp Field Day. Rat Race is an inflatable obstacle course. Field Day also featured a dunk tank, a bounce house, and cotton candy.
