School Calendar for 2011-2012

The South Orange - Maplewood Board of Education notes that the revised calendar provides three days for inclement weather.

In addition, February will see a four-day weekend, from Friday, February 17 through Monday, February 20, Presidents' Day.

Prom is scheduled for Monday, June 18, and graduation for Wednesday, June 20. This is preferable, according to Superintendent Brian Osborne, to a schedule that sees the events on two days in a row.

And, for those who are counting down, school begins on Weds., September 6 for grades K - 7 and 9. Everyone reports the following day.
