Shoplifter Arrested; Cars Burgled

*Frank Romaine, a 49 year old East Orange resident, was arrested on June 30 after a report of theft from Rite Aid. Romaine was arrested on Vose Ave.

*A Tichenor Ave. resident stated that sometime between 6:30pm on June 28 and 7:30am on June 29, someone entered his unlocked vehicle and removed four compact discs.

*A North Wyoming Ave. resident stated that on July 1 he heard someone entering his vehicle which was parked in his garage. When the police arrived, it was discovered that the suspect had stolen a pair of pants from the vehicle and damaged the cell phone mount. 

*A victim stated that sometime between June 27 and July 1 someone entered her vehicle, which was parked in the Library lot, and removed the car stereo. 

*A South Orange resident stated that he had locked his bicycle (navy blue beach cruiser) to the bike rack behind the South Orange Middle School on July 2. When he returned on July 3, it was gone.

*A North Wyoming Ave. resident stated that sometime during the overnight hours of June 30, someone entered his unlocked vehicle ) and ransacked the glove box. No items were reported stolen.

*A Coudert Pl. resident stated that sometime between June 27 and June 30,  someone had entered her vehicle by damaging the driver's side door lock.
