
Seton Hall University, along with emergency response agencies from the village of South Orange and Essex County, will conduct an Emergency Response Exercise on Tuesday May 24, according to a broadcast email sent by student affairs. Residents can expect to see emergency vehicles on and around campus between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. There may be also be more traffic than usual in the area.
The exercise will help assess the abilities of SHU and selected municipal and county emergency service agencies in the event of an emergency. The drill also provides a valuable joint training opportunity, according to the email.
