SO Dolphins Swim Team Registration Begins

Summer's coming, the pool is being prepared, and the South Orange Dolphins Swim Team is getting ready to swim. Interested? Here's what you need to know:

Registration is at the Baird Center daily.

The first practice is June 13th at 4pm for 10 and under; and 5pm for 11 and over.

Daily morning practices begin Thursday, June 23rd at 9am.  

Parent walkers are coordinated to drop off post practice any kids participating in the Baird Summer Playground Camp Program.

The South Orange community pool is host to the Dolphins Swim Team.  The South Orange Dolphins Swim Team is a member of the North Jersey Summer Swim League.  The League is comprised of 20 towns in the North Jersey Area.  The league is divided into 4 Divisions with 5 towns competing in each Division.  

For 2011, the South Orange Dolphins swim in Division II against Maplewood, Mountainside, Verona, and Berkeley Heights.The goal of the North Jersey Summer League is to introduce the sport of swimming and to foster interest in swimmers to continue into year-round competitive swimming.
