Camp starts Monday with a splash! The Recreation Department's Summer Playground Camp starts bright and early with a swim test and get-to-know-you activities.
On Sunday, campers arrived at Baird to pick up their t-shirts -- a different color for each group -- and a schedule of activities. This year's special events include a trip to see the Liberty play at the Prudential Center, a kiddie trip to Funtime Junction, and a fabulous field day that was a hit last summer. And don't forget Crazy Socks Day, Hippie Day and Get Your Counselor Wet Day -- what a way to make a splash!
