South Orange-Vailsburg United Methodist Church Hosts Women's Day Celebration
The theme for 2012 is "Honoring Your Past; Reshaping Your Future"
The South Orange-Vailsburg United Methodist Church invites the public to the 2012 Women’s Day Celebration. The 2012 theme is “Honoring Your Past; Reshaping Your Future." Three women in the community, Tess Cohen, a Columbia student, Attorney Irene Asbury, Municipal Prosecutor, and Jean Johnson, teacher to many youth in the community, will be honored on Sunday.
Sunday, March 18, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. marks the Celebration Worship Service. Mrs. Saroj Welch, who has been a United Methodist missionary in India for 42 years, is the guest speaker.
Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 8:30 a.m. marks the Prayer Breakfast. The men of the church have volunteered to honor the women of the church by providing and serving the breakfast.

This year the color is yellow, which symbolizes God's presence, Holiness, Renewal and Hope. Please wear a yellow shirt, a yellow tie, a yellow scarf, or even just a dash of yellow will do.
