Paving Snarls Downtown Traffic

Plan to drive slowly or not at all on Vose Avenue today. Between Ralston and Taylor Place, Vose is closed to through traffic. This means that Scotland Road is seeing more traffic than usual, though it, too, is having work done. 

In addition, parts of Irvington and South Orange Avenues are undergoing repaving, as is the Baird Center parking lot and tennis courts. Parts of South Orange Avenue will see limited or restricted parking due to the roadwork. Drivers are advised to take note of signs posted around town.

In short, this is a good week to walk or bike, rather than drive, around the Village.
