Join us on Monday, January 19th, from 10:00 am&nbsp;to 12:00 noon&nbsp;for a meaningful&nbsp;Day of Service, partnering with&nbsp;Rise Against Hunger&nbsp;to help package meals for those in need around the world. &nbsp;This is a wonderful opportunity for individuals and families to come together, to give back and to celebrate Dr. King's legacy.
Rise Against Hunger works in countries worldwide to fight hunger, targeting communities facing hight rates of food insecurity. This event is an exciting hands-on volunteering opportunity to help package meals for global hunger relief. &nbsp;We hope you can come join us this Monday, January 19th from 10am to 12noon.All are welcome! Come serve, reflect, and celebrate the spirit of compassion, love, justice, and unity with us.
In addition, are&nbsp;Art Contest entries from Mountainside students&nbsp;inspired by Dr. King’s message of Love, Justice, and Unity&nbsp;will be proudly&nbsp;on&nbsp;display. There&nbsp;will be a&nbsp;reception and winner announcements on Tuesday,&nbsp; February 3rd at 6:30 pm&nbsp;Mountainside Borough Hall Community Room.

2026 NJ Camp Fairs Coming to Your Local Area. These 7 fairs will be held at various locations throughout the state.&nbsp;
Coming to the greater Summit area in Union County!
Saturday, Jan 24, 2026, 12pm-3pm, All Welcome, Admission is FREE!
Held at Visual Arts Center, 68 Elm St, Summit, NJ. Free Parking.
This free event invites parents and children to connect with camp directors from a variety of camps, including traditional day and sleep-away options, as well as specialized programs in sports, arts, STEM, and more.
With offerings for children from PreK through high school, there’s truly something for every interest and age group. Additionally, camps will be looking for camp counselors (CIT), making it an ideal occasion for those seeking summer employment. Organized by NJ Camp Fairs and the American Camp Association (ACA), this event has served as a reliable resource for over 36 years.
