New Hope Arts is a nonprofit community arts center dedicated to celebrating and advancing the rich artistic heritage of the New Hope/Lambertville region. We support artists at every stage of their careers by providing space to create, collaborate, and present their work, while offering residents and visitors access to a wide range of contemporary visual, performing, and literary arts.
Founded in 2002 by Robin Larsen, New Hope Arts continues her vision of building a vibrant regional arts destination through innovative programming and year-round exhibitions. We present six to eight major shows annually—featuring sculpture, woodworking, painting, fine artisan crafts, photography, and new media—often giving emerging and local artists a professional platform they may not find elsewhere.
In addition to our gallery exhibitions, New Hope Arts is home to one of the most active Public Arts Programs in the region, installing outdoor sculpture throughout the community and bringing art directly into the public landscape. We also host performances, talks, workshops, and collaborations with cultural partners that deepen community engagement and highlight the diversity of creative voices in our area.
Housed in a 200-year-old historic building, New Hope Arts honors the past while looking toward the future. We are actively improving our facilities to expand programming, increase accessibility, and continue serving a broad and growing community of artists, supporters, and art-lovers. With support from members, donors, foundations, and visitors, New Hope Arts remains a vital force in sustaining the cultural legacy of New Hope and enriching the lives of all who walk through our doors.
