Busy Week for Verona Police, Rescue Squad
The following information has been provided by the Verona Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

May 26: Verona police and rescue squad members were called to the Verona Pool at 2:11 p.m. after a report of an arm injury. The patient was taken to Saint Barnabas Medical Center for treatment.
May 27: Verona police were called to a Pompton Avenue gas station at 6:13 p.m. after a customer requested $25 worth of gasoline and the attendant put in $45 worth of gasoline. The station attendant attempted to remove the excess gasoline, but was unable to do it.
May 29: Verona police and rescue squad members were called to a Hill Street residence after a resident fell and sustained a head injury at 9:09 p.m. The victim was taken to Saint Barnabas Medical Center for treatment.

May 30: A Rose Terrace resident told Verona police they lost their wallet containing numerous personal papers at 2:37 p.m. The resident was given an identity theft pamphlet.
May 30: A Lakeview Place resident told Verona police at 6:10 p.m. a package delivered to his home earlier in the day had been opened and the contents removed. The homeowner has contacted the package sender.
