Cedar Grove Stays Cool at the Movies
Township offers free screenings at library and outdoor under the stars on Friday.

The township of Cedar Grove is making it easy for residents to stay cool this summer with a series of Friday movies for children and families.
Beat the daytime heat and come to the air-conditioned Cedar Grove Public Library, 1 Municipal Plaza at 2 p.m. today for the family film “Where The Wild Things Are!,” an adaptation of Maurice Sendak's classic children's story, where Max, a disobedient little boy is sent to bed without his supper and creates his own world — a forest inhabited by ferocious wild creatures that crown Max as their ruler.
Tonight at 8:30, families are invited to bring blankets and chairs to Morgan Farm, 903 Pompton Ave., for the Movies Under The Stars screening of the movie, “The Muppets.”
