Grand Openings Held In Cedar Grove For Firehouse, Public Library

CEDAR GROVE, NJ — Two major grand openings were recently celebrated in Cedar Grove: a new firehouse and a renovated public library.
NEW FIREHOUSE
The township held a ceremonial ribbon cutting for the North End Fire House on Saturday.

After the ribbon was cut, the building was dedicated to CGFD president and construction oversight manager Joseph Lipari.
Mayor Michele Mega and the Township Council, Township Manager Zichelli, members of the North End Fire Company, Cedar Grove Fire Department, Cedar Grove Police Department, Cedar Grove Ambulance and Rescue Squad, and Montclair Ambulance Unit were in attendance for the occasion.

LIBRARY REOPENS
The Cedar Grove Free Public Library also marked a big occasion this month: a grand reopening.
The celebration took place on Nov. 1, and included meet and greets with the staff, a children’s story time, a scavenger hunt and giveaways.
“In a town like Cedar Grove, where community matters, we appreciate everyone who joined us to mark this exciting new chapter,” the Friends of the Cedar Grove Public Library wrote.
