Little Falls Man Charged in Car Burglaries

String of early-morning burglaries took place May 15 in Cedar Grove and Little Falls.

A 32-year-old Little Falls man has been arrested and charged with a May 15 string of early morning car burglaries along the Cedar Grove/Little Falls border.

Todd E. Parrett was stopped and arrested by Little Falls police Tuesday when an officer saw him walking Tuesday in Little Falls and noticed his appearance was similar to a picture from surveillance video provided by a Little Falls victim.

According to police, on May 15 several victims reported someone had rummaged through their parked cars in both townships and stolen items such as cash and jewelry. One victim, a Little Falls resident, captured video of the suspect.

Cedar Grove police stopped Parrett and arrested him, charging him with the car burglaries and theft. He was processed and released to Little Falls police custody and charged with additional offenses in that town.
