Local Justice: Decisions in Cedar Grove Municipal Court
The court concluded two criminal charges involving one individual.

In State v Meghan A. Hayes, of Cranford, the State charged Hayes on March 2 with two offenses: (1) possession of a controlled dangerous substance; and (2) wandering, remaining or prowling in a public place with the purpose of unlawfully obtaining or distributing a controlled dangerous substance or controlled substance analog.
The charges were reduced to two charges of possession, use or being under the influence. Both charges then resulted in a conditional charge. The Court imposed a one-year term of supervised probation and imposed fees and costs totaling $839.
The Cedar Grove Municipal Court convenes in the municipal building, located at 525 Pompton Ave. the first four Wednesdays of the month.
