The Friends of the Cedar Grove Public Library recently hosted a Family Fun Night for the community. The event, which featured a winter craft, storytime, snacks, and games with local board game host Traveling Boards, promoted the organization’s #GivingTuesday initiative.

The nonprofit received 501c3 status in 2023. Donations are tax deductible and make a significant impact toward programming and resources not covered by the library budget. In its first year, the Friends purchased a Wi-Fi extender to boost coverage in the library, and made contributions to the Children’s Section and Summer Reading Program.
