Patricia Ann Tucker, 72

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 3, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Codey & Jones Funeral Home in Caldwell.

Patricia (Patti) Ann Tucker, 72, of Whiting, N.J., formerly of Caldwell and Verona, went home to her Lord and Savior on August 28, 2013, surrounded by her loving family.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 3, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Codey & Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Ave., Caldwell, N.J. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Wednesday, September 4 at 11 a.m. at Notre Dame R.C. Church, 359 Central Avenue, North Caldwell, N.J. Interment will be at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Caldwell.

Patricia was born in Orange, N.J. to Pauline and Joseph Dankowski on April 19, 1941. She graduated from Bloomfield High School and attended Bloomfield College.

Patricia most recently worked at West Essex Community Health Services. She grew up in Cedar Grove and Bloomfield, resided in Caldwell and Verona before moving to Whiting 10 years ago.

Patricia loved animals, especially her beloved cats and caring for stray animals in Atlantic City. She enjoyed spending time in Atlantic City playing slots with her special friend, James Wiggins.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, Pauline (Palcic) Dankowski and Joseph Dankowski, and two sisters, Paula and Linda Dankowski.

Patricia is survived by her three daughters, MaryBeth Lentine and her husband Anthony of Caldwell; Sue Ellen Purcell and her husband John of Whiting; Barbara Romaine and her husband Matthew of West Caldwell; sister, Barbara (Dankowski) Cook and her husband Jack of Toms River; brother, Paul Dankowski and his wife Kay of Sparks, NV; former husband and best friend James Tucker of Caldwell; nine grandchildren, Nicole (Lentine) Carangelo and her husband Vincent, Lauren Lentine and her partner Ryan Petersen, Joseph Lentine, Stephanie Lentine, James Purcell and his partner Christa Ayling; Thomas Nancoz, Kara Nancoz, Patrick Nancoz, Tyler Romaine; one great-granddaughter, Aubree Purcell.
