Rescheduled 'Hotel California' Concert Set for Monday

“Hotel California,” the Eagles cover band whose concert was cancelled last Wednesday by lightning and heavy rains, will perform Monday night at 7 p.m. at the Civic Center Square in Verona.

Verona Police Chief Douglas Huber told Patch early Wednesday afternoon the concert, part of the Verona Summer Concert Series for Verona residents, was being cancelled because of the weather concerns.

For two decades the group has reproduced the sounds of the Eagles, showcasing hits such as “Take It Easy,” “Heartache Tonight” and “Hotel California.

The concert has been sponsored by Investors Bank.
