Verona Police Department: New Parking Permit Information

The Township of Verona is revamping the process for purchase of parking permits in the Municipal Lots.  

Applications will be accepted in person ONLY at Police Records between 9 AM and 4 PM from Thursday, December 9 thru Thursday, December 16, 2021.  NO EXCEPTIONS.

Parking permits will be distributed on a first come first serve basis and the following criteria will take priority:

• Properties directly adjacent to the Municipal Lot 
• Residence or business is within 300 feet of the Municipal Lot
• Applicant does not have other parking options available (i.e. overnight permit, option of street parking, driveway. etc.)

Permits will only be sold for the period of January 1, 2022 thru June 30, 2022 – Fee will be $130. 

Decisions on eligibility of applications will be made no later than December 20, 2021. Applicants will be notified to pick up and pay for permits. 

Payment may only be cash or check made payable to Township of Verona.

Permits not paid by January 7, 2022 will be given to other applicants.
