What's the first day of school? What days do students get off for winter and spring breaks and holidays? Download Verona Schools calendar here.
Half-way through summer break, parents and caregivers may already be planning trips, making doctors' appointments and scheduling other activities during the coming school year.
The Verona Board of Education approved the attached 2013-14 school calendar, which is also available on the district website.
Here are important dates you need to know:

Schools Closed, Thursday and Friday, Nov. 7 and 8
Thanksgiving Break
Early Dismissal, Wednesday, Nov. 27
Schools Closed, Thursday and Friday, Nov. 28 and 29
Winter Break
Early Dismissal, Monday, Dec. 23
Schools Closed, Dec. 24 through Jan. 1
Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Schools Closed, Monday, Jan. 20
Presidents Weekend
Schools Closed, Friday, Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 14, 17 and 18.
Spring Break
Schools Closed, Monday-Friday, April 14-18
Memorial Day Weekend
Schools Closed, Monday, May 26
Last Day of School
Friday, June 20
If more than the four allotted snow days are used, the following days will become school days: April 17, 16, 15 and 14. If snow days are not used, Friday, May 23 will be added as a vacation day followed by Tuesday, May 27.
