What they are saying: We stopped in on a Saturday night, and had not made a prior reservation. The staff quickly made arrangements to seat us. We opted for a hi- top table, by the bar. It was tiny but adequate. The place had a nice crowd and a pleasant upbeat vibe. We ordered the Bobby Flay steak and it did not disappoint.The beet salad was delicious as well! The specialty oysters were well prepared and thoroughly delectable with a crusted topping. Yum!

What they are saying: I stopped in here Saturday night with my friend to grab a bite to eat and I had just been here about a week prior for a yelp event. The location can be a pain to find parking but it is well worth it. I'm a big fan of the steak and al pastor tacos. The combination of flavors is really delicious and refreshing. The al pastor taco comes with diced pineapple and a little bit of heat from the salsa served with it. I really like that they let you mix and match your taco combination, a lot of places don't offer substitutions. My friend and I ordered the golden avocados and the Mexican street corn as sides and we really enjoyed both. Can't wait to come back and try some more tacos!

What they are saying: Excellent!The atmosphere here is neat- modern and sleek in an intimate space.The food was delicious. I ordered the trout- a special- and was impressed with the flavor. The desserts are exquisite. I ordered the chocolate ganache flourless cake. The texture was so smooth and it had the perfect mix of chocolate flavor without too much sweetness. My friend ordered the caramel peanut butter dessert which was the same thing- great texture and such a delicious peanut butter flavor without being overpowering. We were warmly greeted and attended to. A great find in Verona!

What they are saying: I'm loving this place! Charming little restaurant, decked out in air travel decor is home and warm on a late October afternoon. The service is cheerful. My boyfriend and I got the sirloin cheese steak empanadas. While the filling was inconsistent --his was very cheesy, mine decidedly not -- it was very full of meat, and a beautiful dark brown from freshly being fried. I found the beef to be a bit too gamy for my taste. The winner here? Their homemade hot sauce (it's not actually hot; vinegary and savory is a better description). Tangy and lightly spicy, it turned my empanada from okay to wonderful. They also have an authentic mojo sauce that reminds me of my childhood. Added on top of the 'hot' sauce, it was a savory feast!Bonus: they sell the hot sauce in 8 oz bottles. Yum!

What they are saying: We were just looking for somewhere new to have dinner coming back home from a weekend trip and found De Novo in the local listings. I can't believe we hadn't found it earlier. This is now my favorite restaurant in the area. The list of wines available by glass is extensive. There aren't many places where you can enjoy a Super Tuscan without buying the whole bottle. We had the meat and cheese board as an appetizer, with 3 meats and 3 cheeses along with 3 garnishes, more than enough for two, and a reasonable $17. For the entree I had the braised short ribs, a regular menu item. The meat was tender and still juicy, the sauce concentrated and intense. The Brussels sprout leaves with roasted garlic were an absolute revelation. I would come back just for a plate of them. Seriously, you have to try them. I mean it. Jason was our waiter, and helped us navigate the ambitious menu. He was wonderful. I was amazed he could cover so many tables and still make us feel cared for in a personal manner.

What they are saying: I love the fact that they have a tator tot menu! There burgers are huge and delicious - I would def recommend coming here if you're in the mood for some pub food. It's a great place to grab a beer and catch up with friends even if you're not in the mood for some food.
