Will Verona-Cedar Grove Get Snow This Week? See Local Forecast

VERONA-CEDAR GROVE, NJ — Weather forecasters are predicting the first widespread snow of the winter season in New Jersey this week, with some ugliness potentially headed to Verona and Cedar Grove.

Verona and Cedar Grove may see rain and/or snow on Wednesday night and Thursday morning, according to the National Weather Service (NWS). There is a wind advisory in effect from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 37. South wind around 9 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Wednesday Night: A chance of rain and snow before 3am, then a chance of snow between 3am and 4am, then a chance of rain after 4am. Cloudy, with a steady temperature around 35. Wind chill values between 25 and 30. Southwest wind 10 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Thursday: A chance of rain showers before 10am, then a slight chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 38. Wind chill values between 25 and 30. Breezy, with a west wind 15 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 45 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 26. Wind chill values between 15 and 20. Breezy, with a west wind 16 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 39 mph.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 33. Northwest wind 11 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph.

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 24.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 36.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 26.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 43.
