New Jersey 4-H State Beef Bonanza

4-H youth of all ages are invited to register for the 2026 New Jersey 4-H Beef Bonanza to be held on Saturday, January 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Somerset County 4-H Center.

Throughout the day, participants will enjoy a variety of engaging activities including the Beef Quiz Bowl, poster contest, art contest, Beef Skill-A-Thon, and more. For youth in grades 6 and above there is also an optional overnight lock-in, concluding on Sunday, January 11, at 9:30 a.m.

This year’s theme, “Star Spangled Beef,” celebrates the 250th birthday of the United States, so wear your patriotic attire.

Participation in the event is free, however, there will be a small fee for lunch or youth may bring their own.

Advance registration by January 1 is required.
