2. The Battle of Brandywine with Noah Lewis as Ned Hector
Thursday, May 2 at 7 p.m.—West Deptford Free Public Library
"Dressed in Colonial attire, Noah Lewis brings his message and passion about Edward (Ned) Hector, a free black Colonial soldier, wagoneer, respected patriot and hero. He will discuss the contributions made by African-Americans in the fight for freedom during the American Revolutionary War."

3. PetSavers Bark n' Bid
UPDATE:Â This event, originally scheduled for May 3, has been postponed. See the comments section below for info on a ticket refund. Tickets will be valid for the rescheduled event as well.
"The night will include a silent and basket auction, music by Love Alive, a full- course dinner, and cash bar. Tickets are $40 or $75 per couple."
4. Fly High in the Sky

"Make and fly (weather permitting) a cool kite. Advanced registration is required to determine time, size of group and materials needed. There is a minimal kite-kit fee of $4.
