Christmas Tree Shops May Close Soon In Deptford
The retailer plans to begin liquidating inventory after defaulting on its bankruptcy loan, according to court filings.

DEPTFORD, NJ — If you just love a bargain, you may need to get to Christmas Tree Shops soon. The retailer plans to liquidate all of its stores, including Deptford's.
Christmas Tree Shops recently filed papers in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware indicating that going-out-of-business sales would begin at all the chain's stores.
The sales could begin as soon as Thursday after the company defaulted on the loan funding its bankruptcy, according to the Wall Street Journal. Potential buyers have until then to object to the liquidation sales.
