Crash Kills Teenage Boy In Deptford: Police
The victim's vehicle veered off the highway and crashed early Wednesday, authorities said.
DEPTFORD, NJ — A teenage boy died in a crash early Wednesday in Deptford, officials said.
The victim — a 17-year-old Sewell resident — was driving in the single-vehicle crash, a State Police spokesperson told Patch. Authorities have withheld his name as late Wednesday morning.
State troopers responded to the crash at 12:11 a.m. on Route 55 South. The teen was driving southbound when his Toyota Camry veered off the roadway to the left and hit a concrete overpass support and a tree, according to the preliminary investigation from State Police.
