Jason Bartholomew Wanted In Gloucester County on Warrant

The Mullica Hill man failed to appear in court on a charge of heroin possession.

Jason A. Bartholomew, 26, of the 300 block of Richwood Road, Mullica Hill, is wanted by the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office for failure to appear in state Superior Court in Woodbury. 

Bartholomew was scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 5, 2012, for a for a pre-arraignment interview on a charge of possession of heroin.

Bartholomew is 6 feet tall, weighs 175 pounds, and has brown eyes and brown hair. 

On Feb. 15, 2012, a Mantua Township police officer on patrol on Route 55 determined that a passing vehicle was registered to a driver with a suspended license, and the officer stopped the car. Bartholomew was a passenger in the vehicle. The officer observed a pink plastic packaging baggie at the top of Bartholomew's untied boot and took him into custody. At the police station, the officer reported Bartholomew voluntarily surrendered several pills and three bags of suspected heroin.

A state grand jury sitting in Gloucester County indicted Bartholomew on Aug. 22, 2012, on a third-degree charge of possession of heroin.
