Jewelry Theft, Vehicle Burglaries Top West Deptford Crimelog

Police also reported residents discovering property damage and bicycle thefts.

According to West Deptford police, the following incidents were reported as having occurred in the township in the past few weeks.

  • On April 12, a Bowman Drive resident discovered that damage had been done to a storage trailer that was parked on the street in front of the residence. The cost of the damage is unknown.
  • On April 12, a gray Haro bicycle valued at $500 was stolen from a neighborhood in the area of Shivers Avenue and Rt. 45.
  • During the overnight hours of April 13, a Redwood Drive resident reported that an unlocked motor vehicle in front of the home was burglarized. Personal property valued at about $150 was removed from within.
  • On April 13, a resident of Tilden Court reported a sewer grate (valued at $175) was stolen from a field located adjacent to the residence.

  • On April 15, a resident of Crane Street reported that a window in her shed was broken, and the estimated damage was approximately $100.
  • On April 18, an Oak Street resident reported that her unlocked vehicle was burglarized and $20 of electronics were stolen from within.
