Police ordered everyone to exit the vehicle one at a time. The front passenger — later identified as Green, 26, of Millville — was hesitant and refused to exit at first, but eventually he complied, authorities said.
Inside the empty vehicle, officers say they found a gun in the pocket of the front passenger-side door.
Green was charged with possessing a defaced firearm, possessing an unlawful firearm, possessing a weapon without a permit, terroristic threats, and engaging in alarming conduct.
He was placed in the Salem County Jail, which provides incarceration services for Gloucester County.
Attorney information for Green wasn't available in online court records as of Sunday afternoon.
