Man Tried To Kill Coworker In NJ Warehouse, Shot Fired: Report

A Gloucester County warehouse employee was arrested Sunday after allegedly trying to shoot his coworker, according to a report.

LOGAN TOWNSHIP, NJ - A Gloucester County warehouse employee was arrested Sunday after allegedly trying to shoot his coworker, according to a NJ.com report.

The incident took place at around 3:30 p.m. at the Logan Township LaserShip/OnTrac warehouse on Crossroads Boulevard near Route 322, the outlet reported.

Saahir Muhammad-McMillan, 21, reportedly pulled a gun on his coworker following a physical fight between the two at the warehouse. The gun went off after another employee tried to help the victim. Nobody was injured in the struggle, NJ.com reported.

Muhammad-McMillan, a Chester, Pennsylvania resident, was charged with attempted murder, terroristic threats and firearm possession charges, including possessing hollow-point bullets, the outlet reported.

He is lodged in Salem County jail pending a court appearance.

Multiple police agencies responded to a warehouse in the area of Routes 322 and 295, the Gloucester County Office of Emergency Management said. There is no ongoing threat to the community.

“A heavy police presence will remain as the incident and investigation continues,” the office added in a statement posted to Facebook at around 6 p.m. Sunday.
