GLOUCESTER COUNTY, NJ — Gloucester County will host a mega job fair in the gym at Rowan College of South Jersey from 9 a.m. to noon, Oct. 15.
Attendees are advised to dress in business appropriate clothing, bring copies of their resume, and be prepared for the possibility of an immediate interview.
“The Mega Job Fair is one of the largest job-seeking resources the county has to offer, benefiting both employers and applicants on a large scale,” Gloucester County Commissioner Director Robert M. Damminger said. “It is a great way to connect, network, and even interview on the spot with over one hundred different employers who need new employees.”

The Workforce Development Board will host a series of advance workshops ahead of time, officials said. At the fairs, attendees can learn job fair strategies, social media techniques, and how to improve their resumes from experts from Rowan College and the American Job Center.
“The workshops focus on resume writing, interview techniques and other important aspects to improve an applicant’s chances of being hired either on the spot, or in the near future,” Gloucester County Commissioner Heather Simmons, liaison to the Department of Economic Development, said. “We conduct these sessions before each job fair. They are an excellent way to help jobs seekers prepare, especially if it has been some time since their last job search.”
