New Jersey Party Primary Elections Tuesday
Four candidates for West Deptford township committee—two from each party—are up for consideration. Most other primaries are uncontested.

If you vote in the primary elections for either of the Republican or Democratic parties, Tuesday is the day to make your selection for the candidate you'd like to see on the November ballot.

TOWNSHIP COMMITTEE
In West Deptford, the choice that is top-of-mind for most voters will be deciding which candidates will represent their parties in the township committee elections.

Republican voters will select between former committee candidate Jeff Hansen and Gerald P. Maher. Democratic voters have two choices as well: .
GOVERNOR
For the Republican slate, Seth Grossman has the unenviable task of challenging the entrenched incumbent Chris Christie.

In the Democratic camp, frontrunner Barbara Buono, the 18th district New Jersey State Senator, will contend with East Orange mayoral aide (and former New Jersey Net) Troy Webster.
STATE SENATE
Both parties' candidates in the Third Legislative District are running uncontested.
Incumbent New Jersey State Senator (and West Deptford native) Stephen M. Sweeney will be challenged by Republican Niki Trunk in the fall.
STATE ASSEMBLY
The New Jersey State Assembly primary candidates are also running uncontested
On the Democratic side, incumbents John Burzichelli and Celeste Riley will face Republicans Larry Wallace and Bob Vanderslice.
GLOUCESTER COUNTY FREEHOLDER
All primary candidates on the county freeholder tickets are also running uncontested.
Expect to see Republicans Vincent Nestore (incumbent) and Ed Selb and Democrats Frank DiMarco (incumbent) and Dan Christy on the ballot in November.
Polling Information
Polls are open: 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Can I vote?: Not sure you registered to vote in time? Check here.
Mail-in ballots: The clerk must receive mail-in ballots before polls close at 8 p.m. You can drop off your ballot at 550 Grove Rd., West Deptford, NJ 08066.
What if I have a problem voting?: First, talk to a poll worker. If it’s not resolved or your problem is with the poll worker, call the Gloucester County Board of Elections at 856-384-4500.
